He delivers me,

From darkness into light,

Come ye to the True Church, come:

Canaan’s blessings He bestows,

Oh, how He loves me, though I am nothing,

With His Holy Spirit here, He filleth me.

He leadeth me,

Out of Babylon we’ll flee,

Gave the precious Comforter,

What a precious gift for me,

Thro’ His dear grace He calls me to serve Him,

So I’ll spread His word afar, Unto all men.

He guides my way,

Clearly shows the path to take,

Lift your eyes to heav’n above,
