Hymn 309 - Another Year, How Swiftly Come

Time now has passed; hail the new year!

Saints at God’s throne are gathered here,

Worshiping Him with thanks we sing,

Praises ascend to Christ our King.

Father we thank Thee for past care,

Blessing and guiding through the year.

Take now this year, show us Thy way,

Keep us from straying, Lord, we pray.

Father protect us from all wrong.

Thee would we serve helping the throng.

Grant us the wisdom and the power,

Thy will to do each passing hour.

Dear Lord, increase our faith each day,

To higher planes, lift us we pray.

We place our work within Thy hand,

Oh, give us peace! Revive again.
