Blest is he who ne’er consents
In the wicked’s way to walk,
Neither stands in sinner’s ways,
Nor with the scoffer’s talk.
But he makes the law of God
His comfort and his delight,
So he reads therein by day,
And meditates by night.
Like a fair tree fed by streams,
That with timely fruit doth bend,
He shall flourish, and success
All his designs attend.
