Sin too long has oppressed and enchained you.

See now! Christ is mankind’s Saviour;

He can free you and your strength renew.

Night too long has blinded and deceived you.

See now! Christ is mankind’s true light;

Your eyes He can with new sight endue.

Rise up! All ye slaves of evil,

Make His goodness your goal of endeavor.

See now! Jesus and His Kingdom

Shine before you forever and ever.
